The Role

You’ll take ownership of a broad and often complex caseload, including:

  • Deputyship matters (Property & Financial Affairs, with exposure to Health & Welfare where relevant)
  • Advising professional deputies, individuals and families on high-value and sensitive matters
  • Oversight of financial management, reporting and compliance
  • Supporting on more complex or contested Court of Protection applications

Alongside your own caseload, you’ll:

  • Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals
  • Play a key role in maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Contribute to the ongoing growth of the team, both strategically and commercially

Why this role stands out

  • A genuine platform to influence and shape a growing team
  • High-quality work with real client impact
  • A team that prioritises quality over volume
  • Close collaboration with experienced and well-regarded senior lawyers
  • A clear and credible pathway for further progression

About You

You’ll be an experienced Court of Protection lawyer, likely at Senior Associate or Principal Associate level, with:

  • Strong technical experience in Property & Financial Affairs deputyship work
  • Confidence handling complex matters and sensitive client relationships
  • Experience supervising or supporting junior team members
  • A desire to step into a more influential, visible role
