The Role
You’ll take ownership of a broad and often complex caseload, including:
- Deputyship matters (Property & Financial Affairs, with exposure to Health & Welfare where relevant)
- Advising professional deputies, individuals and families on high-value and sensitive matters
- Oversight of financial management, reporting and compliance
- Supporting on more complex or contested Court of Protection applications
Alongside your own caseload, you’ll:
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals
- Play a key role in maintaining and developing client relationships
- Contribute to the ongoing growth of the team, both strategically and commercially

About You
You’ll be an experienced Court of Protection lawyer, likely at Senior Associate or Principal Associate level, with:
- Strong technical experience in Property & Financial Affairs deputyship work
- Confidence handling complex matters and sensitive client relationships
- Experience supervising or supporting junior team members
- A desire to step into a more influential, visible role
